Victoria, TX – Join Goodwill Industries of South Texas, Inc. as they celebrate the grand opening of the newest Goodwill store and donation station in Victoria on Thursday, April 25th at 9 a.m. at 4302 Houston Highway (across from Walmart). The just under 12,000 square foot store provides shoppers an assortment of donated and new goods to purchase at affordable prices including name brand items. Goodwill also offers a drive-up donation station that makes donating to Goodwill convenient. Goodwill accepts clothing, furniture and household items.
John Owen, president & CEO for Goodwill Industries of South Texas says, “We are excited to open our second Goodwill Store and Donation Station in Victoria.” He continues, “Most people are unaware that when they donate to Goodwill, they become job creators right here in the Golden Crescent. The revenue generated from sales at Goodwill stores go towards funding Goodwill’s mission services, which include job training programs and employment placement for people with disabilities and other disadvantaging conditions. Goodwill stores and donation stations exist to give people in-need a hand-up rather than a hand-out.”
